It was my great honor to participate in the 6th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Accounting Business Knowledge Competition held at Foshan University in November 2025. As a member of Hong Kong Chu Hai College and the captain of the competing team, when everything settled, I stood on the podium holding this heavy, hard-won second-place trophy, with a flood of emotions pouring over me.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

From the preliminary rounds to the final competition, we were a team with no prior experience. We spent countless late nights researching materials and refining our cases; exhaustion and self-doubt were always lingering. Even the night before the final, we were still gathered in the hotel, brainstorming the challenges we might face the next day and the pressure our opponents might bring, rehearsing over and over again, telling ourselves, \u201cWe can do this.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It was the unwavering guidance and companionship of our mentor, Associate Professor, Rudy Io and the mutual support and tireless dedication of my teammates that carried us through each round. This honor belongs to every single member in the team who put in tremendous effort and enormous amount of personal time.<\/p>\n

I am grateful to the college and especially our mentor for placing their trust in me and the members of the team, giving us the opportunity to participate in such an important event. I thank my teammates for always fighting alongside me. I also would like to extend my sincere thanks to Foshan University for providing this brilliant stage, where young minds from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao could converge and shine. This experience was far more precious than any trophy. We will carry this light within us and continue striving forward.<\/p>\n

2025 Summer Internship <\/span>

\nAccounting and Banking Year 3 Student, Tse Long Yin <\/strong><\/h5>\n

I worked as an audit intern at \u201cZhonghui Anda CPA Limited\u201d for about a month in the summer of 2025 . Zhonghui Anda CPA Limited is a medium-sized audit firm that serves local listed companies, overseas multinational corporations from mainland China and Taiwan. The internship gave me a clear understanding of international accounting standards in the accounting profession. Even though I was only responsible for sample audits of journal entries, the strict and responsible attitude of my colleagues and their efficient teamwork gave me a deeper understanding of the rigor of the accounting profession. Overall, the internship has clarified my future career development path.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
